Howdy, Cave!
It's been a while! I, much like yourself, was devastated when the original SpaceBug closed its doors - so many people which would be displayed; it was crushing. This is why my close friend ChillJacob and I crafted a released a fan recreation of SpaceBug with some of our personal favorite features plus a few twists! Although the server has yet to be 2 months old, we have already received enough monetary support for us to be sufficient for well over a year! To be frank, the support of such has been overwhelming, especially given the smaller player base. As of current, Jake and I are planning on conducting a few expansions to the server come summer time - exciting things indeed!
Although I cannot guarantee a return of original SpaceBug, I CAN provide a spiritual successor within SpaceBugV2; complete with 1.8, auctions, and SpaceBugUtils - a plugin lovingly crafted by the one and only 10becja! If you ever have a desire to join, our IP is SpaceBugV2.mcph.co and our site is SpaceBugV2.com.
